Coverage

Starlink Coverage

Where the world's largest broadband constellation can serve you today.

How to Read This Map

Green zones indicate areas where Starlink residential service is generally available. Yellow shows waitlist regions, and grey shows areas not yet served (often regulatory rather than technical reasons). Coverage changes monthly — see the official Starlink availability map for live status.

Why Coverage Varies

Even with thousands of satellites overhead, Starlink can't legally serve a country until it has spectrum and landing-rights approval. New ground gateway stations and laser inter-sat links are also needed to handle traffic in oceans, polar regions and conflict zones. Read our Starlink technology guide for the engineering details.

Service Tiers

  • Residential — typically 50–250 Mbps in green zones.
  • Roam — global travel use with priority data.
  • Maritime — high-performance terminals for ships.
  • Aviation — Starlink Aero in airline cabins.
